The April showers didn’t come this year, but we’re still hoping for May flowers. And we also are hoping for some late spring rain and snow in the mountains.
Runoff from the Poudre River is expected to be well below average, and the amount of water available to the city from the river will be reduced. However, Horsetooth Reservoir will provide us with adequate water supply as a result of the last few years of abundant snowpack, with enough to fill our reserves for next year.
